About Me

Jo Freemantle

Have you ever felt like your real life hasn't quite started yet?

Like you've been capable, dependable, and quietly getting on with it — while somewhere inside, a bigger, brighter, more you version of yourself has been patiently waiting for her moment?

I see you. Because I've been you.

I'm Jo — once upon a time a bright, shiny, red-headed lassie from Glasgow, Scotland, educated in Edinburgh, now all grown up and living in the south of England, Hampshire.

After enjoying the 90s dance and party scene rather thoroughly, I spent decades trying to be normal — quietly suffering with depression, able to do the bare minimum perfectly well but nothing more, functioning but never quite thriving.

Ever since I met my teenage daughter's dad, and now husband, life looked great from the outside — charming dependable partner, good family, decent job, home owner, own car, all the things — but all the while quietly wondering "is this it?"

Even more so when perimenopause hit. I started making mistakes at work and got super shouty at home, finding myself, more than once, crying in the doctor's office, being told "you're too young for perimenopause" and handed SSRIs because — I could see it in his eyes — he didn't know what else to do with me. Of course the anti-depressants didn't work. Well, one did — for about two weeks — and then gave me chronic IBS. 😳

That was super tough. But I found my way through it. As it happens, the Universe quite literally gave me a break — my right elbow, as it goes, but that's a whole other story. 😄

I'm now officially post-menopausal — a proud Crone — and happy to report my bladder is absolutely fine and the future, on the other side, is bright. So bright "I gotta wear shades"😎🖖

Three children, two husbands, two cats, many costume, and mask changes, as well as several careers (lol), and more than a few long dark nights of the soul later — and trust me, I know how desperate and lonely those are — I found my way to something I can only call Joyful Enlightenment. Not a destination but a way of travelling.

Here's what I bring to our work together:

I'm a certified Intuitive Life Coach, a seasoned Richard Knight certified Tarot reader with glowing client reviews, and a grown ass woman who has genuinely lived enough of life to hold space for yours without flinching.

I don't do spiritual bypassing or empty affirmations. I do real, warm, sometimes witty, always honest, never negative guidance — using Tarot as a powerful tool for insight and clarity, not as a crystal ball.

I use the cards the way a good coach uses questions — to help you see what you already know, but haven't yet let yourself say out loud.

Who I work best with:

You might be bored of being bored, sick of being tired. Busy, capable, devoted to everyone else — and somewhere along the way you've lost the thread back to yourself.

Maybe you find yourself saying quietly, to yourself or someone safe — "I've lost myself. Where am I?"

You're not broken. You're not dramatic. You're just ready — perhaps for the first time — to come home to your whole self, with passion and purpose.

Need a friendly guide to get you back on course? I'm here for you. 🦄

What you can expect from a session with me:

Warmth, honesty, and zero judgement. A space where you can be exactly where you are — and leave knowing a little more clearly where you're going.

Curious where you're really at amid the chaos of life? Start with a Lifecraft Compass reading.
